FRANKLIN PROJECT  | REMODEL

X

Catastrophic water damage spurred ahead remodeling this family home.  What once felt dark (even on the sunniest of days) is now flooded with natural light by eliminating a large dividing wall that impeded the flow of the home.

LOCATION:  Omaha, Nebraska
TIMELINE: 8 months
AREAS: Seating space, Living room, Game Room, Basement Bar
FAVORITE DETAIL:  Contrast trim + moody dining room

PHOTOGRAPHER:  Mandy McGregor at M.McG Design

Kitchen.

A space to gather with friends and family -- this kitchen is truly the heart of the home. We maximized the entertaining space with seating around the island. Adding bench seating around the kitchen table also allows for a cozier and more functional dining option.

Living Room.

Removing the wall in between the living and the kitchen provided the best opportunity for added natural light and optimized traffic flow. We kept the beautiful ceiling detail and created a true family-friendly oasis.
